THE INSTITUTE

CCMCA is a self-financed institute established on of 15th June, 1999, commenced academic activities with one discipline, namely Master of Computer Application (MCA). The Institution is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Government of Gujarat, and was affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot, Gujarat since its establishment year up to 2009 and then to affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad, Gujarat during 2009 to 2013.

Since 2013, CCMCA is Constituent College of C. U. Shah University, Wadhwan initiated by Vardhman Bharti Trust (VBT) and duly approved as State Private University by the Govt. of Gujarat on dated 22nd April 2013.

The college is committed to provide opportunities and all other facilities that will help the students to grow physically strong, mentally sound and intellectually sharp. The college campus is spread over a landscape of 8 acres having ecofriendly environment located away from the hustle & bustle of crowded city.

The Institute offers Master of Computer Applications programme. The institute admits students in MCA programme through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses by conducting Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) by State Government of Gujarat.

LOCATION

C. U. Shah College of Master of Computer Application (CCMCA) is situated on Surendranagar- Ahmedabad State Highway on the outskirts of Wadhwan, a Taluka headquarter, situated on scenic banks of river Bhogavo at distance of about 6 km. from Surendranagar.

The Town has glorious historic and cultural heritage. The ancient princely city well known for temple, step wells & number of water ponds is surrounded by a monumental stone castle and architectural arched gates.

Eminent poets, literati, freedom fighters and philosophers have bestowed an honorable status upon the city. A fast developing vast industrial belt, now on the bank of the river extending up to Surendranagar has geared up the development process of this area and the aspirations of the people.

The Institute is committed to provide the students with sound theoretical and practical training in computing with a view to equip them with necessary skills that will make them to be useful citizens and become successful entrepreneurs.

The institute is committed to develop advanced level technical skills for the professional needs of the industries i.e. software engineers, database designers, database manager and data miners, enterprise data and system managers data and system security managers, logical network designers, data structures and algorithm designers, software architects, knowledge base managers, advanced web developers and research scientists.
